Aquila opened its Telford depot in April 2010. This brand new, state-of-the-art facility provides round-the-clock support for a number of major local clients, most notably Maidens of Telford. Maidens provides a complete distribution service for a range of clients, including Lyreco the stationery supplier, also based in Telford.

The Aquila depot, built on a reclaimed four-acre coal site, forms part of the Maidens of Telford £2 million headquarters located at Donnington Wood. A partnership between the two companies has created an ultra efficient solution that enables Maidens to benefit from on site servicing and MOTs for its entire fleet of 50 trucks and 100 trailers, all of which is provided by Aquila.In addition to the core servicing and Tacho testing facilities, Aquila Telford also conducts MOT testing and is the first depot in the Aquila Group to house an intrinsically safe MOT Bay. The bay enables Aquila to provide both standard and petro-chemical MOTs for its clients. By doing so Aquila Telford is able to reduce truck downtime considerably and ultimately improve efficiencies for its clients.We also are able to offer the new MAN TGE vans from our depot in Telford, giving local businesses access to this excellent new van. The Telford depot can handle all servicing and parts requirements for the MAN TGE, making it a tremendous resource for those businesses that run a fleet of vans.The Telford facility operates to the same high standards as the rest of the Aquila Group. The team work in close partnership with Head Office and the other depots in order to ensure an efficient customer experience.
